Lucy's House - Sugar is BAD for you!

I've been teaming up with wizards going into Lucy's House in Sky City. If you've been in there, you know it's a cheating battle with a heck of a cheat. Sugarr Eater of Souls will super charge his team every time he takes damage, and he uses Dark Pact, so chances are it will happen whether you're careful or not. If you defeat him while there is still a minion, he will return with 75% of his original health.

The best strategy I've come up with is to advise the team to use the Mirage spells that can target just the minions, or single target attacks, defeating the minions first. It is super difficult to stay healthy when those sugar cubes have full pip spells coming at you.

Any other advice, except to avoid Sugarr?

I think I've only done that fight 3 times, twice was for the quest. I think the best way is to just spam moves, there's no point in stacking up for a big hit since they're gonna plague you a dozen different ways until your hit would do just about nothing... Also keep a healer around lol

I did this with my spiritual trio. My myth and death did most of the work while my life stayed as the healer. I was mostly spamming aoes, only blading and using brace when waiting on pips to hit. I did pack plagues on my death, though, and did use them often when they showed up. It's possible to do this fight without a full team and even without using the Mirage spells (I guess it depends on your gear, though, since I didn't kill the boss before the minions the entire time with the gear set they currently own).

A healer helps out a lot and if you have a death on the team, then having them pack plague will help weaken the spells they're throwing at you even if it's only a little bit. The brace aura will also help out because that's more resistance they have to pierce through. If you have a myth on the team, then using earthquake whenever possible I found helped out as well. It'll knock off whatever blades aren't protected as well as any shields they have.
