In general, after dropping food do you pick it up and eat it?

Maybe you eat dropped food because you don't give two hoots about what germs got packing. Or maybe you don't because the ground is full of fecal matter and other bad stuff.

Maybe you eat dropped food because you hate to see things got to waste. Or maybe you don't eat dropped food because you think people will look at you weird if you started chasing that apple that you dropped and now it's rolled like 10 feet away and picked up a whole bunch of nasty stuff but you would probably eat it anyway if you didn't feel like you would receive glares of shame.

OR maybe you've just never thought about it before.

It really depends on where its dropped lol I usually catch things I drop before they land though since I have somewhat of a better reaction time to these sort of things

If it's able to be washed sure, otherwise heavens no. I can can sweep and wash my floors all day long, but we have too many animals and people in this house for me to trust the floors lol

I voted under if I can rinse it. However, it's also where I am. If I am at home cooking for just my family, I know my floors get clean daily. If I am out, then no way!

I've got a bit of OCD so I don't ever eat something that has hit the floor.

I understand its harmless I just automatically always through the fallen piece away.

If it's a peanut and can be brushed off, sure. If it's a piece of banana, no. It's what sticks to the item that makes my decision.
