This just happened to me in Sapphyra's Tower.
I battle Foulgaze and his minion, a haunted one, with 135 health. Second round, I hit the minion with what the screen showed as 135 damage. The minion proceeds to spin his head and disappear.
So far, so good. We got normal going on. Third round starts and there is still a target box for the minion, with one health. But he is still disappeared, not standing in the ring.
But, invisible though he is, he still casts a firecat spell at me that does damage! Pretty darn powerful for not existing anymore!
I don't hit him 'cause I'm too surprised by all this and just pass. Next round, he's actually gone and doesn't show up as a target box or spell or even a lingering odor...and I've done nothing, just passed.
Very weird...never seen anything like it before.
Earlier, glitch number two happened to me.
I was in Firecat with a quest to vanquish FireElf Pathfinders and as I leave the safety of the sidewalk to run into the mob, my wizard becomes transparent. You know, exactly like when you finish a battle and are transparent (and "inactive") for just long enough to not get pulled into another battle with the mob while you relocate to safety. Been that way since the game started.
But this happened to me BEFORE the battle, not after. And it didn't go away. I let my wizard sit there for half an hour, transparent, not able to coax the baddies into recognizing him and dueling, running into them, sticking his tongue out at the chumps.
Half an hour. Transparent. From nowhere.
Also weird.
Perhaps, when they hire new programmers and have them review code and they look at the notes for the WC code, they'll find a notation, "Kilroy was here."
