You may be right, I never actually tried a sharpened supercharge.

Some others that I thought of later, that do stack:

Item-sharpened blade (with a regular sharpened blade), as from Dragoon boots.

      And, a jewel-blade

That's right. Also item-sharpened, pet-sharpened, tc-sharpened and relular sharpened blades all stack. That's why I like carrying Jewel of the Apiary (pre-Dragoon levels) and having either Enchanted Armament or a specific class pet (or a hamster).

      Re: Deckathalon Pet

Finally got a ratscallion trained up to mega without getting a big energy. Not sure, but I think its about 7th or 8th generation. Here is the result:

Waiting until ultra to be able to give her a spell proof jewel (I already have several in hand), or maybe a pain-giver if I ever get one of those.

      Edit:

In case you're wondering about all those spell-proof jewels (I have 4), i have a wizard who farms the first two battles in the secret tunnel (Gannon and Madden) for flying squid ink (I have over 1500). But they also drop a decent amount of shiny and sparkling gems like health and mana Gems (what max level wizard would ever use up a socket space for extra mana?), Blocking, critical, accuracy, resistance (both spell proof and spell defying) and damage (both school specific and opal). Spell proof itself is a rare drop, but I've been doing so long I've accumulated several extra. I also have another wizard farming Uwe for Dazzling gems, but he also drops sparkling gems (A few days ago he dropped a +131 dazzling health opal).

      Re: Deckathalon Pet

Took it out to about the 15th generation. I tried to get rid of windstorm and finally did, only to have it replaced by critical striker. Now I can't get rid of that. I know many of you want critical striker, but I don't, not on this pet.

Things I have come to HATE about pet training:

Getting rid of that one talent you don't want. I consider myself lucky if it manifests at teen or adult. Nothing worse than waiting until you train a pet all the way up to Mega before it manifests, which this one did.

Don't talk to me about 'sticky talents,' I've heard it before. Just because that's the way it is doesn't mean I have to like it or want to put up with it.

A pet only manifests 5 out of 10 talents. Just because a pet inherits the ability doesn't mean that it has to manifest that particular ability every single time. But some do. Like Piercemonger on my royal triton, or big energy/critical striker on my ratscallion. In one of my houses I have an army of ratscallions running around with big energy or critical striker. Because those talents just can't not manifest.

A s many pets as I have trained all the way up to mega and epic, you'd think that at some point I'd be able to pick which talents I want to have manifest. Or at least see what talents are inherited so that I could just skip training this one all the way up to mega knowing that I'd get the sticky talent then if not before.

What you describe has been my experience too, and is what eventually drove me away from hatching or training pets anymore. Just couldn't take the frustration and waste of time. When I quit, I threw away all the 3 x 5 cards I had accumulated to track my pets and counted more than 3000 of them, hardly anywhere even close to the number of pets more dedicated "pet wizards" have, I'm sure.

I do have a few pets that have manifested 5 talents that I actually wanted: five heals (before Pigsie came along), five damage, five wards. The only thing I think I learned hatching those pets is to use the same parent (or parents) over and over and over (hardly breaking news, lol). Anyway, that's what I did with them...
