Guilds, how do you picture it?

The update of Adventure Groups for me has been probably the least of my favorite updates so far. not that it's a bad update but rather a little half-baked towards unnecessary. It's just a little more complex upgrade to the Groups system that was already there but this update did spark some discussion over a different topic: Guilds. So I've been thinking about how to implement a system that creates a more permanent version of groups. Anybody have any thoughts about this topic??

This is how I see it:

There would be an option through groups when there is a group of 4 players or more to make the group more established, then there would be an option to name the group and maybe elect a group leader from amongst the group. Then there would be an option to add character names as well under one character's name:

      Example:
      Dylan Windwalker (Leader):
      1. Valerian JadeBlade
      2. Scot WaterWielder
      3. Seth DreamDreamer
      4. Lucas LightBright

*When a wizard switches character within their account, it will switch to the character the person is on*

So if I switched to Valerian JadeBlade, it'll turn into this:
      Valerian JadeBlade (Leader):
      1. Scot WaterWielder
      2. Seth DreamDreamer
      3. Lucas LightBright
      4. Dylan Windwalker

When you add another player, you have the option to "recruit them" to the already established Guild or only allow them into the Group format that's currently there.

The main part of this is that it will be permanent and the Guild will remain in place after the player has moved out (the Guild will state that the player is not online).

      Other Ideas:
      • There's also an option to all port to the Guild Leader in a "Guild Members Assemble" button
      • There would be an option to customize the interests of the Guild like check market for Fishing, PvP, Derby, Pet Collecting, Questing... etc.
      • You can only choose one single Guild to be part of

I'll update it if I or you all have any ideas

Lightbulb Re: Guilds, how do you picture it?

I see Guilds as being full of intrigue, economy control, and specializations in certain services. Basically, I envision this as being a mix of Guilds from Dungeons & Dragons and Wynncraft.

Players could hire Guilds to farm for them, and whatever loot dropped for the person farming could be diverted to the patron paying.

Guilds could wage wars over areas of each world, vying to control them for unique perks. The ground troops could be Monstrology TC, summoned to help defend your land. Perhaps each school of magic could bring unique abilities to the Guild, with Conjurers specializing in summoning Monstrology Minions!

Public Treasure Card trades would be a key part of the Guild economy, with Guild Members being able to offer and ask for TC trades on a public platform.

Each Guild would also have a unique banner, with customiziation similar to how you create your own flag in Pirate101!

I feel for a Guild system to be affective in W101 and P101 first they would need to make the Friends list Account Wide so were not adding 6-8 Wizards that belong to just 1 person. It be eaiser to add the persons account name isntead of the 6-8 wizards they may have. By doing this would allow us to see if the person asking to join the guild is the person who they claim to be. Which would help if the guild is only meant for you, your friends and who ever you want in your guild.
