Summer Update Now in Test Realm

I saw where the Summer Update is now in the test realm. Although I cannot give it a test drive, as I am not a member nor have I spent $6 or more in the last 30 days, I was interested in reading the update notes available here:

      https://www.wizard101.com/game/commu...notes/july2021

They made a big fuss about all the new content: New spells, new forms for Beastmoon, etc.

Conspicuous by its absence is any mention of fixing existing bugs, like the badge bugs for Karamelle and the Beastmoon event. How long has it been now since the community managers said that they would pass along our concerns to the developers, without a single feedback concerning a possible fix? For bugs that were first reported last year?

      http://www.wizard101central.com/foru...quirement-Info

And with all the new content, of interest (to me, anyway) was the list of upcoming craftable gold idols during the Monster Mayhem events for the next 4 months. Nothing new there, they've all been offered before. In fact, two of the idols that will be offered in September will be repeated again in November.

And, Death Fairy and Life Colossus are currently being offered in this week's Mayhem event. That will make it 3 times in 5 months for Death Fairy.

All in all, seems somewhat underwhelming.

      Edit:

One update that I especially do NOT like will be the ability of players to join Beastmoon as a group. It will be fine for Monster Mayhem. But in the original Beastmoon? How will that be fair to players who have to rely on a random team up, likely to have players playing for the first time, to have to go up against a team that has practiced together? Who don't have to worry about players going off and doing their own thing instead of helping the team? Or who stand around and do nothing? Or will preformed groups only be pitted against other preformed groups?

This feature has been in game for a long time now. Groups tend to be pitted against other groups, but I think (not 100% sure) there have been times when the 6-person megagroups that I've joined just go up against a bunch of randoms, probably due to a lack of other 6-person megagroups. Random team Beastmoon Hunt is still a lot of fun. Mayhem, on the other hand, is still nearly impossible with random teams.

Anyways, I'm definitely interested in trying to grab some Myth Ninja Pig, Death Draconian, and Balance Krok idols. The rest I think I have on at least a few characters somewhere, and Life Fairy is just not a form I want to learn.
