Which world gives you the most nostalgia?

I feel like the correct answer from me is technically Wizard City, due to the sheer amount of time I've spent there with my various wizards. But to be honest, I've had so many baby wizards quest through there before I decided I didn't like their name (or design, back before the days of the magic mirror) and so they got Abracadabra'd, only to be replaced by new ones who I needed to quest through the world all over again. And after all of that questing, Wizard City looses it's nostalgic gleam for me.

So, I answered Zafaria, as that is the world that I was playing through at the peak of my enjoyment of this game. Coincidentally, it was also around that time that my closest in-game friends were around frequently, which surely has something to do with how much fun I was having with the game at the time. But yeah, when I think about the world I have the most fond memories in, it's Zafaria. Whether this has much to do with Zafaria itself is up for debate, but one way or another, it features heavily in some of my best memories from this game.

Dragonspyre. For me, it was just that end of the first arc excitement. That first time was exciting for me because you knew what was coming. And now, even today, when I first enter DS with another wizard, I still get that feeling again. It's Malistaire. Our first evil guy. I even get the feeling a little heading into the end of Azteca and Darkmoor.

I wish I could vote for both Dragonspyre and Khrysalis. Dragonspyre because that's the world where so many people farmed for the sword wands and we all farmed Malistare -including lower level wizards!- for both gear and fun when it was the final world. Khrysalis as well because we're finally closing in on Morganthe, someone who has been a step ahead of us the entire second arc, for the final fight with the hope of finally stopping her.

I'm the lone Mooshu nostalgia boi here I guess.

When I hop into Mooshu, I'm reminded of little ol' me playing wiz on our family computer. That pc of ours was so horrible that I had to walk backwards during much of the world to avoid the big scenery because otherwise my framerate would slow to single digits.

Only 512 MB of RAM back then. Windows 10 eats 4x-8x that amount just idling nowadays. It really puts into perspective how much technology—and thus much of my life—has changed since then.

Dragonspyre. But it's not just the world, I have to be listening to the born this way album at the same time. Most specifically the songs "The Queen", " Highway Unicorn" and "Fashion of His Love". 2011 in general gives me nostalgia.

My daughter, who was 6 at the time, took a long time to get through that world. I recall she couldn't say, Krokotopia; it always came out Koppa-tropia. No matter how hard she tried, it came out like that. Her brothers and I started to say Koppa-tropia just to roll with it. Traveling through halls and getting sucked into a battle is very nostalgic. However, back then, there were no Loremaster spells, so you played with what you had.

When I travel back to Krok, I still hear her say Koppa-tropia.
