Feedback Wanted on potential new Death Utility Spell.

If you could have a new damage+utility spell, at what rank (pip cost) would you want it to fall, and why?

(Remember that you're giving up a bit of damage for the utility, so this won't be your new "hitter.")

Oh, this was an idea I had several months ago!

Costed at around 8 pips, it would be a single-target attack that would "corrupt" the last blade put on that target. The corrupted blade would instead be a school-specific Weakness for the same amount as the blade would have normally gotten (Storm gets a -30% Weakness, Ice gets -40%, Balance just gets Weakness, etc.)

I'd rather do something like this rather than just giving them an Efreet because the situational condition would make it a more interesting spell, plus it could be a way to justify packing both a Disarm and a -45% Weakness into the spell without lowering its power by too much.

I think they're asking specifically for an attack spell with utility tacked on, which would make cheap spells pretty difficult to design efficiently. But if you want cheap pure utility, what about a 1-pip stronger version of Weakness? Like 35-40% compared to the original 25% Weakness? It just costs a pip though.

How about a 3 pip spell that does low level damage and puts on a feint?

I hope that the Devs get creative with this spell, while keeping it within the Death school's conventions. Unique utility spells such as these should be fun to use in both PvE and PvP, and bring something new to the table!

Mass curse for like 3 pips

5 pips infectious plague would drop infection, plague and curse and entire enemy team.

Mass dark imp-pact this could be like 7 pips giving +35 % universal blades to team and - 25 charm plague to enemy team The imp could be a nice touch and a little playful addition to the spell but please don't add animations that take forever lol.
