There are so many great opportunity for them to sell physical items to fans of the game that they're missing out on. Professional art from Adam as posters, framed Art, Artistic Books, etc. Who wouldn't want stickers from the doodles of all the pets in the game? Anyone else want an actual plush of the Unicorn Plushie pet? (I mean we don't have to do every pet in the game like neopets here). And how many times have people asked for music downloads/CDs/Playlist of the music that's played throughout the game?

I mean seriously...the digital art in this game can be used for great design in products, and I'm sure the community would love to input what they'd like to see as merchandise. Not only that, there are so many easter eggs and play-on-words, I'm already imagining the stickers galore they could make out of all of these references. The Karamelle posters are a fantastic example of the not-so-subtle "big brother" theme of that world.

I guess they're just used to getting creative with subscription/crown sales that they don't bother looking at the opportunity of longtime fans purchasing tastefully designed products that advertise the game at the same time. I'm sure they could even do a slow-roll out approach with advertising one single item and see how that sells before committing...

I could not agree more! KI is really missing out on an excellent opportunity to add revenue and maybe, just maybe, relax the dependence on Crown sales.

About a year ago I suggested KI sell some of their real cute items in stores. Hopefully, new management will agree there is true opportunity here.
