Pet item cards

Should we be able to control for what item card a pet gives? Such as picking and choosing (to an extent*) of which item card the pet puts into the player's deck?

I've been thinking because I really appreciate the looks of many pets in the game but the item card they give to the player (if any at all) aren't the ones I'm looking for and if I were to get that pet, I'd most likely remove that item card from my deck. I just feel like players should be able to obtain which ever pet body they want and still have benefit from another pet's item card, if you get my drift

*I said to an extent because I feel like constructing a specific combination of item cards could possibly be broken, maybe some item cards cannot be placed on a pet.

P.S. I think this was the intention of Pet Jewels also but hardly anybody uses that pet jewel slot for item card jewels...

It would be nice if we could "stich" pets, so that we could have our favorite looking pets coupled with the best item card arrangements! I think the only pets that should be excluded from such a feature should be Set Bonus pets though, seeing how they give extra stats.
