      I wonder if Supernova is part of the audit.

      Please say yes, @Sparck.


      • The DPP ratio is extremely high and needs to be dialed back.
      • The affect after the damage - destruction of the Aura - is totally awesome, and way over the top!
      • The exclusivity for balance, (unless one drops in your lap or you garden for them or have an item card), and inability to block the destruction of the Aura make it way over valued for 2 pips.


      As Loremaster was determined to be way over-valued, Supervova is also way over valued.

      Consistent 535 damage before solar surge for two (2) pips for a Gimmick school that is not considered a damage school is way out of line. Even at 4 pips, neither Brimstone, Kraken, or Headless can touch it. The destruction of the Aura adds so much value, it's hard to overlook how overvalued this spell is.

      My suggestion is:
      If remaining at 2 pips, Supernova needs to have a lot less damage - perhaps 120 max. That justifies the continued exclusivity and aura destruction.

      Or change it to 5 pips and leave it alone.

      Just my thoughts.

      If a Spell wasn't audited in the Summer 2020 update, then it will be audited in a future update. Since Supernova wasn't touched then, I imagine it will be tweaked whenever the devs get around to auditing the rest of the Spells.

      Yes, yes... you read me well. Just finished gardening sunions which drop useless colossal for PVP, but have tons of Supernova TC. I use them, and they come out of nowhere with my non-balance schools. Just hoping to see a change. I was on the wrong end of at 2-pip Supernova that went Critical and did 1,500+ damage. That felt well below average.

      I agree, Supernova's damage should be nerfed! It should stay at 2 Pips though, or at most 3- otherwise this unique spell won't see much use. I think it should deal 200 damage max though, as it is a bit more situational than Scorpian, and has significantly less Accuracy.

      It only does damage if you have an aura up other wise its just wasted space if you dont put up an aura
      267.5 per pip is higher than normal but look at its accuracy 60% unless you have darkmoor gear this spell will more than likely fizzle
      buff the Accuracy to 85% if you wanna nerf the damage
      balance is not just support and i always hate seeing this as an argument we have quite a bit of Manipulation spells we can be hitters as well we can do anything y'all can do

      i can rant all day about this

      Eliminating the opponents Aura should already be a lot of pips. No other school can do that. The 500 damage a a giant cherry on top, honestly should be around 150 if it were to stay 2 pips...

      Accuracy for damage may be a good trade off.

      And I must thank you.... i NEVER noticed the accuracy since I only use the TC version, which is 75% BTW.

      This is Loremaster, version 2. The spell is waaaaay over-valued. You can strip away the affect, and still have an incredible 2 pip hit.

      C'mon, man! If you PVP, you know most players have may cast auras, or pack auras. So the odds of a PVP match between a balance and someone else not having an aura is probably very, very low. Show me a Balance that doesn't use one Supernova in a match, and I will show you a level 140 Ice with only 4,000 HP.

      The spell hits too hard for 2 pips
      There is no block for the aura destroying ability.

      the support part was not directed to you

      i was a first age warlord on an old acc back when there was no lore master and any may-cast that was meta was mostly heals and getting warlord on balance was a real pain and i learn the hard way

      The Tc only buffs it to 75% and does 535 so it still wont be doing much vs someone with 40+ resist i know some of you get upwords of 65+
      i do look at pvp here and there
      maycast that i know are meta are Fortifier, vengeance, infallible, shatter, enfeeble, school auras just to name a few







      did you know when it was on test it was 9 pips? making it 60 per pip
