Monthly Wiz-Related Spending

Was talking to some friends recently about how much we drop into wiz monthly, and it got me wondering what everyone else spends and what would convince you to spend more? Is this a significant amount for you, or is it the tradeoff of a fancy coffee or fast food meal? Do you feel like you're getting your money worth?

Personally, I only do the bare minimum of 1-2 subs which is either 10 or 20 bucks depending on if new content is out that I want on my side account. I'm not quite rolling in the dough, but it's pretty easy to imagine it as skipping a meal out of cutting into my Starbies fund a few days. On months where there's a sale or new world, I might drop 60-100 maybe once or twice a year.

Ever since the Night-Knight event was a thing, I haven't spent a single cent on this game. I make do from contests and KI Live, and by being incredibly stingy with the Crowns I have.

IIRC, I only had a Membership for two months a long time ago. I bought it initially during the 1/2 off sale for new Members to take advantage of Double Gardening, and my Membership continued for a second month because the system automatically purchased it.

For Players who plan on playing Wiz for over 2 years, Crowns are the cheapest way to go. And for veteran Players who intermittently play like myself, dropping ten dollars a month is a huge waste!

After some math as I buy mostly in bulk and during sales, it seems I am hovering when averaged out between 20-50 a month depending on sales, with lack of sales taking me down and more bringing me up.

Idk, I enjoy the game, so I don't mind spending on it. I have spent a lot less last year as I have not agreed with recent decisions, including but not limited to the lack of sales.

It's just part of my entertainment budget as games are my main down time entertainment. I don't do any streaming service, or movies as they are to boring and not interactive enough for me, so I guess it really takes their place.

Ever since the Night-Knight event was a thing, I haven't spent a single cent on this game. I make do from contests and KI Live, and by being incredibly stingy with the Crowns I have.

As one of the more outspoken people about avoiding spending, is there anything KI could do that would bring you back to actively spending on a regular basis or has their track record become so poor that you're pretty solid on only FTP and contests?

Over the years since starting I probably spent somewhere around 40-100 monthly on the game but that is for 5 accounts and my entire household played the game together. I stopped playing for years until recently but I have everything unlocked up to Karamelle and have enough crowns to open that world easily. I probably won't spend any money on the game unless I run out of crowns to open up new content.

I spend $10 a month for a monthy-renewal. I spent $5 a month ago as well for the lowly ~2000 crowns. I only spend crowns on Stitching which I have done for my 3 maxes (Scotty got two full gear stitches, the other two have had one stitch for Dragoon Gear each). I have something like 1300 crowns left... I might throw in another $5 if I feel like it but ehhhhhh

I have only 1 sub, but have another free to play account.
I buy crowns on both accounts whenever I need them. Typically I will buy at least 120k crowns per purchase on each account. I only buy when crowns are on sale though, so my spending has gone down drastically.
Any bundle that comes out I will buy.
Special things like the Kroger Cards I will buy. When they came out I bought them in mass and saved them until I had all the jewels. I even have multiples of some of the jewels.

Add it all up (roughly) and divide by twelve and it comes to about to about $128 per month.

The thing is that I don't have Bastion - Gobblerton areas purchased with crowns. Sure I would switch to crowns if I could but it would simply be a huge amount of money at once to purchase all of those areas that I couldn't be able to I try not to think about it or be too concerned about my spending lol
