Where do I build an Azteca structure out of blocks?

I have been exploring the Azteca castle blocks and want to build some sort of structure out of them. What I need is a castle with a very large outdoor space to build my Azteca pyramid fortress or whatever it morphs into. The only really good castle I can find for this is the Avalon castle plot. It has a great large open space and no other buildings to distract the eye from my creation. Unfortunately, what it does have are a number of Avalon plants around the edges. I can live with these if I absolutely have to, but I would rather not. Is there another castle I have not found in the crown shop better suited to an Azteca themed structure?

I suppose one technique would be to build a bunch of outbuildings and statues to hide the existing plants under. That seems like a lot of clutter and it might not really work. Does anyone have any suggestions for removing unwanted/unthematic plants from castle grounds? Can these things be made invisible with castle magic?

Sigh I'm too am pretty disappointed by the fact that there's no open space houses that aren't worth crowns or from a bundle

Re: Where do I build an Azteca structure out of blocks?

Honestly, apart from a KI official like @Sparck to answer this question, I'm not sure your question can be adequately answered.

I'm confused on the subject as well, and W101 doesn't have any explanations in the game to assist (that I know of).

Re: Where do I build an Azteca structure out of blocks?

The only other non-bundle home I can think of with a decent sized space is Wysteria Villa and the space on the right side of the outdoors section of the house
Certainly, though, this and other options don't compare to the Avalon Castle Plot. If you want to get rid of the trees, rather than expending so many items to create buildings covering them why not just cover them with other, more generic tree items? And no, you can not use castle magic to directly affect the home environment, only items which you place. There's also the option of going off-grid and creating your own space to build on. Good luck with whatever you decide

Re: Where do I build an Azteca structure out of blocks?

The outside space at Wysteria Villa is tricky, because itís cut up by pathways that interfere with item placement. Not impossible if you use glitches or advanced move, but it might be complicated.

I built my Aztecs structure in the forest that surrounds my Botanical Gardens, in an open space thatís somewhat hidden away. This helps to separate it thematically from the existing castle, and gives it the feel of an ancient ruin.

Iím not sure how many non-bundle castles have these lush, sprawling grounds, but I think you could do something similar. Treetop Getaway, maybe? Or how about the grassy area inside the hill of your Avalon Castle Plot? I donít think there are Avalon trees in there.

I also think an Azteca building would fit in nicely with an Island Getaway or Jungle Houseboat, but you might have to get creative on space.

Well, the grandiose plan I have in my head would take more space than the small clearings you are suggesting, but on the other hand there is much to be said for starting small and working up. The huge pyramid fortress my mind's eye is picturing would probably take six months or more of gathering reagents to craft the blocks and decorations, and I'd likely burn out before finishing. I'll take a look at the various spaces you have suggested and pick one to build something smaller and more practical.

In the meantime I am going to go to KingsIsle's website and request they add an Azteca-themed house similar to the Avalon castle plot. Some follow-up comments chiming in from other people might help convince them the community is eager to see this happen.

Re: Where do I build an Azteca structure out of blocks?

My request on the KingsIsle official forum for a new Azteca house is out of moderation and posted here: https://www.wizard101.com/forum/the-...675130a013cf5? . Anyone interested in getting KingsIsle to introduce a new "Azteca castle plot" please add to that thread so KingsIsle can see there are multiple players interested.

Edit: thanks to all who made suggestions. Looking the various houses over, I think I am going to start with something on island getaway. That built in Temple of Doom rolling boulder trap is freaking awesome. I will build my main structure outside, probably a small step pyramid, and plant a bunch of palm trees and such to partially screen it from view.

Re: Where do I build an Azteca structure out of blocks?

My queries on the KingsIsle message boards led to my figuring out there IS an Azteca themed castle intended for building Azteca structures out of blocks, it is called the "Serpentine Escape". Unfortunately it cannot be purchased separately but is only available as part of the Azteca builder's bundle. This bundle is officially retired but available now as part of the current "all bundles are back" special offer, which I think runs through January 5, 2021. To buy it visit KingsIsle's website or open the in-game crown shop and click "buy crowns", scroll down below the options for buying crowns and current bundles are listed in alphabetical order.

The bundle is a pricey $39. For that you get the Serpentine Escape castle plus a bunch of typical bundle gear. The wand has an interesting maycast at level 100+, and the gear has a suitably gaudy Aztecan themed appearance, but it isn't particularly great, you are mostly buying this bundle for the castle. The plot has a large exterior space as you'd expect, with two prebuilt houses on it made up of Azteca blocks. You can pick up the blocks and build your own structure with them, which will save a lot of block crafting. And it's nice that the included blocks don't count against the housing item limit. Unfortunately the exterior space is cut up by streams which may require some glitching or castle magic to work around.
