Is it harder to dodge monsters with bigger mounts?

I have traditionally stuck to brooms for a mount because they are cheap and they seem more maneuverable than the bigger fancy animal mounts. I have been thinking about getting one of the crocodile mounts, because it seems cool, the green color matches my life wizard outfit and I can get a croc hunter badge to go with it. But I am worried bulkier mounts make it harder to get by wandering monsters in narrow gaps without getting sucked into an unwanted duels. Does apparent mount size really affect maneuverability or collision distance with wandering monsters? Or is the mount image completely cosmetic, not actually affecting dodging monsters despite appearing to be bigger?

Single player mounts don't really change anything while walking around. The problems start when you're using a two or more player mount. The person riding with you might get caught as you're turning while you don't. Mounts such as the clown car likely won't have that problem since everyone is all bunched up in one spot.

Now, smaller mounts will make it easier to see where you're going and see where the mobs that you're trying to avoid are.

Thanks, that's exactly the sort of info I was looking for. The crocogator, while quite long, seems low to the ground and I don't think will interfere with my vision much. I'm probably going to get one, particularly if I can find a way to buy even a temporary one with gold instead of crowns.

I do not recommend larger mounts like the Hydra or Treant, especially not from Krokotopia to Dragonspyre. Where your character looks to be on screen is usually slightly off-center from the actual position (the shadow), and so you might sometimes get pulled if you're not aware of you not being entirely towards the walls.

The wiki says prospector Zeke sells the crokogator, but doesn't say which of the many versions of prospector Zeke. So far I've checked krokotopia, wizard city, and zapharia, and I can't find the crokogator for sale. Does anyone happen to know which Zeke I should be hunting down?

You can purchase the 1-day version from Zeke in Azteca. If you want either the 7-day or permanent version, you'll need to buy it from the Crown Shop.

Thanks, guys. My current wizard has only reached Zapharia, but I have previous wizard that can get to Azteca and buy it for him. My crown budget is pretty tight and I don't want to spend any on a mount until I at least try it out to see how it looks and maneuvers.

Edit: Ok, I tried out the one day version, it looks cool, doesn't hinder maneuvering, comes in life colors and makes my "Krok hunter" badge seem more authentic. Now I am lusting after the permanent version, which is not only permanent but faster. 6500 crowns is going to SHATTER my crowns budget ...
