After getting the max upgrade I need a reliable source for toffee bean, like the final boss fight that always drop 1-2 spellements every run.

I haven't found any that reliable.
My favorite to farm for them however is Heidi as it's just a boss battle with no mobs to get past first.Omg

I've gotten a few from Silver Chests. I wouldn't go as far as calling them a reliable source, but definitely check them out.

I agree - I think I've gotten them from about 1 in 10 chests - both wooden and silver.

I've gotten them dropped fairly frequently from Uwe in Sweetzburg.
