I haven't seen Maycast Stealward much, but I have seen Maycast Legion Shield in action quite a lot. It triggers often, and I consider it to be the superior Maycast. Although Steal Ward is more viable in 1v1 and is usually a more potent counter, Legion Shields reliability makes it the better talent, IMHO.

May cast legend shield is already in the plan. I trying to figure out the going rate for steal ward since it becoming more common or guardian wall which is may cast tower better. It for a ice pet tanking pet.

I can't speak for the casting chance, but the cast rate will depend on what kind of enemies you're facing because these talents have different triggers. Steal Ward may trigger whenever an enemy casts a shield or mass trap, or even you cast a single-target ward on them.

Guardian Wall is completely different, it can trigger when you take damage - I'm not sure if it can trigger from an ally taking damage but that would make it a lot more effective when in a group.


I usually rate them in around equal cast rates but I see Steal Ward as too random, it can remove shields you had no trouble with and give you a shield you have no need of. Unless I'm facing an enemy that mainly relies on Tower Shields (and thus feeds ME Tower Shields) I think Guardian Wall is a safer bet.
