      Re: Cost of Karamelle

[QUOTE=Allison DeathWielder;5616636]Small correction here: most zones were not typically 1995. To the contrary, they actually steadily increase as you get further into the game, so this was expected at some point even if it's not fun to see.

Ignoring free zones, zone/zone bundle prices escalated as such:

      Wizard City: 750 Crowns
Krokotopia: 915 Crowns (now 3500 per due to the consolidation of its zones, but the world is significantly cheaper than before total)
      Marleybone: 1200 Crowns
      MooShu: 1200 Crowns
      Dragonspyre: 1200 Crowns
Celestia: 1695 Crowns (a new temporary standard price up from the previous standard of 1200)
      Zafaria: 1695 Crowns
      Avalon: 1695 Crowns
Azteca: 1995 Crowns (new standard price, and the one most of us are familiar with)
      Khrysalis: 1995 Crowns
      Polaris: 1995 Crowns
      Mirage: 1995 Crowns
      Empyrea: 1995 Crowns
Karamelle: 2295 Crowns (now the newest standard)

It is worth noting that we spent more worlds at the 1995 Crowns per zone point than any other pricing model, so it's understandable that players got more comfortable with that pricing. There are also outliers. GH came out between DS and Celestia, but costs more than Celestia, Zafaria, and Avalon, although this can be attributed to the fact that it's side content and was priced higher as a result.

      As an aside,

I'm not sure what to make of the pricing for places like Wysteria, the Four Dungeons, Aquila, and Catacombs, although one interesting thing to note is that Catacombs' at 6000 Crowns is priced at roughly half the cost of a world (assuming a price point of 11,970 Crowns), while Aquila at 9735 Crowns altogether costs nearly the same price as a cheaper full world (assuming a cost of 9975 Crowns).]

When I was able to buy the 20 dollar gift cards from CVS, I could swear I paid 1995 crowns from Celestia to Empyrea for every single zone I unlocked, and would sometimes buy multiple cards and wait til I was out of the amount needed to buy the zones.

I've paid 1995 crowns for so long, it seems like everything has been that way.

And like you said, we get used to the pricing being standardized.

Still, I hope they have not overhyped Karamelle and make content too short between zones that it angers most of the community.

I am glad that some of the Testers for Karamelle were kind enough to make videos of what we will be expected to do when it comes out, and have mentioned that we have the Cabal as our new enemy in Arc 4, which was kinda predictable from the in game markers.

I was perusing other TEST REALM subjects and it seems that there is a cliff hanger that the wizard must wait for in Nov 21. I don't mind the cliff hangers, I hope that the content will be enjoyed and doesn't fall flat.

On a side note, with the Karamelle crafting badge being dependent on having the REVERED badge, does that mean KI will finally start making the Participation Trophy a reagent in the Bazaar?

I realize that this specific reagent is meant to elusive, but I have only retained 9 all year, even with dailies.

I believe most have clocked in Karamelle at about start to finish somewhere between six and nine hours.
