Test Realm is up!

I am incredibly disappointed to see Spellements worm their way into our mainstream spells. KingsIsle still needs to make existing Spellements obtainable ingame without spending a googolplex of lifetimes or your life savings to get some, but rather than fix the core issues they decide to make it worse...?

On KI Live, one player in chat mentioned that they only got five Spellements questing up through the spoiler wall. Ratbeard, in his infinite wisdom, replied that they only drop from bosses and you will only receive Spellements for your school... And that the rates were fair.
Five Spellements doesn't sound fair to me! What we need to see are "Spellemental Loremasters," with one for each school. And if KingsIsle wants these new Rank 7 Spellements attached to Karamelle instead, then they better be dropping in copious quantities!

Spellements are great in theory, but the execution has been exceedingly lackluster- the Marketing department is clearly behind this failure. We already have to farm for so much in this game, and it gets exhausting fast. Please, KingsIsle- do not make the daily grind even worse!

According to Mattnetic on twitter- the spellements will be implemented into main quest and side quest rewards(currently did not make it into test yet) and that he plans to have them drop like candy in Karamelle.

I hope they include training points for the Zeke and Eloise quests, because this is the first time that the Zeke quest didn't give you any.

Other things that aren't included are an energy boost (1 point per level like in the past) and a max gold increase.

I believe Mirage and Empyrea test realms didn't have training points on the Zeke quest either, until it was later updated/fixed prior to going live.

Unfortunately Mattnetic has stated that the energy cap is intentional. I'm not sure about the tp issue.

Kane DawnWalker, my L130 Life, was doing roughly 50 trips through the Abandoned House in The Drains; and he managed to get the first updates for Daybringer and Nightbringer as he was trying (and failing) to get the Life Vanguard Helm.

When you're adding a house to the tours, you were able to choose which style you want, but here in Test, that option doesn't seem to be there. Is this a bug?

You cannot choose if it is a Dorm, or if it has Gauntlets -- those two are automatic. The other categories you can still choose.

My Olde Town apartment is not a dorm, since it has both an inside and outside.

And if I want to choose something besides the gauntlet style, I have to remove all of the gauntlets that I have? I don't think so.

My Arcanum Apartment counted as a Dorm, maybe the Olde Town Apartment is miss-categorized and should be reported as a bug. They probably just mass-labeled anything that was called an Apartment.

As for removing your Gauntlets, that's up to you, but I can see why they want to keep all Gauntlet-related castles out of strictly decoration categories. Many decorators have felt that Gauntlets garnered unfair ratings in the current system.
