      I thought it was reasonably paced, both in the time it takes to hit each enemy and the time spent before Orthrus actually attacks (I'm looking at you, Ship of Fools and Rat Spin ). Making it faster than it is now would take away some of the oomph it has as a powerful attack spell. I just wish the second head got to attack as well, like a random chance for either head to do the attack per enemy, and for the ear issue to be fixed.

      I think they should have used the mauling attack animation instead of just the howling one. I get this is supposed to make the spell faster, but the former works better thematically with the spell damage than what's presented now.

      Regarding Orthrus, I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. I think what we have is actually fantastic and worth losing the double hit over. There's still Minotaur for that. At this point I'm just patiently waiting for additional spell audits to come through, in order to fix some awkward discrepancies (like current Ra vs new Forest Lord) that I don't expect to go live.

      I do also really want to know what changes to Wings of Fate would actually please players, because at this point I kind of feel like it's just a doomed spell. The initial heal it has is a huge step forward, but the current general perception seems to still be that it's not a worthwhile spell to use.

      I think you should have a choice for double hit on a single target or the change for AOE.

      Part of Myth would feel like it just died if this change is permanent without the ability to revert to the double hit.

      Perhaps just introduce another spell rather than change it?

      I would prefer to see Wings of Fate become a solid hit AoE and dump the HoT altogether.....Life has plenty of Heals now and adding more is a waste. I would use Piggsie before using WoF. I would also like to Scion of Life be a damage spell instead of Heal.

      My Myth does not and has not used Orthrus since she got it. I don't like the current double hit or animation of what is in Live realm. I do like and appreciate this change to Orthrus and will be more inclined to use it in conjunction with Frog and Earthquake.

      Could be a spellement path. Take the fixed Orthrus, and make a spellement path where you can reduce its burst damage to add the smaller first hit. That way those of us who want a solid AoE can have that, while those who want the double hits can go that route too.

      If they do decide to speed up orthrus to attack all at once, then my idea would be to make the left head attack the first 2 spots, and the right head to attack the last 2.

      i like this idea a lot! i was talking about it with others and they agree, the second animation was the cooler one. i hope the spell gets more polish/adjustment. the transition between the hits is a bit weird and the ending is abrupt, maybe they can add a quick "outro" like others spells have (ie hydra). then hopefully itll be more thematically fitting like before, and as visually interesting as the other aoes. nonetheless, i LOVE that orthrus is an aoe now, id always wondered why it wasnt in the first place when every other school's 7-pip spell was an aoe. hopefully this trend of bringing myth up to speed continues!
