I had the same problem. But if you "Ctrl + Right Click" on the item, what pops up has tabs on the right side. Click on the tabs to see adjustments (such as sockets), and spells given, if any.

ty i found it now. its so hard to find what you want in the bazaar cos we cant see stats proper now. i dont like the changes to it

I was doing the pet quest, but took a break for lunch. Didn't realize that your pet happiness goes down while you're a pet. So, the pets become unhappy when they play this game? Great message, KI.

good point should make it so it gose up when we play as pet and when it gets full it needs a sleep or snacks to make it playful again. playfullness bar.

Hey fellow wizards, just reinstalled the game after a few months.Read the recent changes made and I have a question about the new talents:

The 40 or so new talents that were added (the adventuring, will cast etc.) can randomly manifest like any other talent in the past while leveling your pet to it's next rank?Or is there another mechanic in place?

Say if I have an epic pet from before the update and I lvl it up, do I have a chance to get the new talents or are they restricted to the newer pets that were added?

Also I am assuming you won't be able to manifest any of the new talents if your pet is already mega?

I believe those talents are just like any other talents (only manifests on the new pets, but can be transferred over by hatching). The only thing new about these is that you can only have one at a time. I don't know what happens if you try to get a second one on a pet.

I believe that when you hatched your pet, that was when any talents that it might manifest were determined. As you train your pet, it randomly (ha!) selects a talent from the pool of pre-determined available talents. Any new talent that came out after, you would have to hatch a new pet from a pet that had the new talent, and hope it was passed on to the new pet.

We're aware of the right click being a problem for mac users. We're also listening to all of the community's feedback on general UI changes and are working on solutions.

What do you have your right click configured to? I have mine set on two fingers clicking down and mine seems to work fine (not that I like this new interface at all). Maybe it's just some mac players that are having problems though.

So when last my balance wizard left the game, the day before the spring update, he had to defeat Thunder Horn Zombies to complete the quest "Night of the Comet" (to get the six codex pages). Today, the day after the update, when he logged in he was given the badge "Three Streets Savior" AND credit for having completed the acquisition of the codex pages--without fighting any more Thunder Horns!

It's not a glitch because Grandma Raven posts a dialog box saying, "You think you now have all of the pages that make up the Xibalba Codex." And indeed my quest log shows that part done.

I have a screen shot that shows this, but it's not going in the wiki so I see no need to post it. It is available.

All I can figure is KingsIsle decided that the codex quest was too much of a grind and gave it to players who had not yet completed it.

So i finally pet trained for the first time since the update. I'd heard that you now needed 2250 exp to reach ultra, using 12 energy per game. But my epic pet, training up to mega, now needs 2125 exp to reach mega. Still 10 energy per game. Did they change any other stages? I can sorta understand changing Ultra, because the requirements were the same as mega. But why change the requirements for mega?

And as much pet training as I have done in the past (along with most of you), why are pet talents still completely random? You'd think an experienced pet trainer should know to some extent whether a pet is worth training. Even if its just knowing what talents a pet may have inherited rather than having to train a pet all the way up to mega only to get that bust of a talent at mega that you're trying to breed out of the pet.

I have a pet that is otherwise an excellent pet. One week recently he got bred 7 times in the kiosk. But he has one talent that I just don't want - piercemonger. Some of you may want it. But I prefer talents that are always in effect (like spell proof) or are 'may cast' (like pet healing spells). I don't want a talent that puts just one card in my deck. Especially a card that is only useful in limited circumstances. If I want that card in my deck, I will put it in my deck. I have bred that pet dozens of times, and every single time the new pet manifests piercemonger. I consider myself lucky if it manifests at teen or adult. More than once it didn't manifest until mega. Talk about a waste. If I could know whether that was something the new pet could inherit, I wouldn't even bother training it. Just hatch a new pet and hope for better luck. Same goes for trying to breed a new talent into a pet.

That's why I don't really do pet training anymore. Too much wasted time and effort getting talents I don't want, but not until epic or mega. I am working on some healing pets for the deckathalons, and the school class pets, but that's it.
