Yes, I think that's the ideal. Could you guarantee it? No, and I never said that. But you can get a lot closer than what KI is doing. No, I don't care to hash out the details. I'll let you search it up. Frankly, I don't care. I've quit the game, don't miss it, and only occasionally come back here when I get a notification I have a PM. I definitely need to stop looking at the boards. Not much left here anymore anyway.

Correct, among other ways. VPN is a lot easier than switching providers though. I really only have one choice for a provider if I want speeds greater than dial up.

Maybe if they implant nanochips in everyone by force, then they scan them and do a retina scan and take a DNA and urine sample before a game account can be approved. Then we can stop trolls forever and live in a peaceful dystopia hey? It might be your ideal but I think i'll pass on that if possible. Not sure what i'm supposed to be searching up

I never heard about the crowns exploit. If I did, I would agree that is totally wrong v can you explain in what happened
Not crowns per say, but wasn't there a thing where people were getting endless mega snacks and people got banned?

Yes and a LOT of players were banned. If I remember correctly, that was about 5-6 years ago.

VPN does not block IP bans. It simply helps you maintain anonymity when using it. The IP you use will become inactive and the VPN will masquerade your IP. You can still be tracked using a VPN but it becomes more difficult. It really depends on several things, one of them is the type of VPN that you are using (as Valdus pointed out).

It's not as simple as using a VPN and boom; you can bypass anything! No, it's much more complicated than that. Nowadays, software is more advanced. I know for a specific popular gaming text and voice chat app, it would take a hacker a few days to come back, unless they had an alt already in the server. Overall, if you don't know what you're doing then it wouldn't really make much of a difference if you were using a VPN or not.

Eventually, the person will find a way to get back in but it will take some time and a lot of effort to do so. Hopefully, by the time they find a way to get in, it has cost them enough cash they MIGHT think twice about exploiting anything they come across.

The sad thing about a MAC ban is that the owner will sell or give the computer away and just buy another. IF the person that buys it tries to use it to go to the same site, it will be blocked and chances are, the IP will be also since the MAC has already been tagged.
Mac bans are nonexistent. Even if you were to ban based on that, you can also spoof mac addresses just like you can with IP. I think you're confusing this with a "Hardware Ban." Hardware bans do exist but it's extremely rare. To the point where you will never really get one if you're not an insanely toxic individual. They basically take all the information they have of your PC and they create a code where those exact specs will be indefinitely blocked by the server. Alas, like with all other things in the digital world, it can be bypassed.

People need to understand that there is no such thing as 100% in the computer world. You can only go so close to 100%, but never quite reach it. There is extreme diminishing returns and you will find it easier to get to 50% (even 75%) more anonymity than for you to get to 99% from 98%.

Be careful when using a vpn too. Vpns have been known to get banned too.

It would appear that a few years ago the people ddossig the game and crashing the servers used a vpn. KI then banned everyone who used certain vpns. As far as I know, everyone who contacted KI got their accounts back, but it is something to be aware of.
