Welcome Duelists!

It is time.....to CELEBRATE!



In honor of 10 years of coming together with our fellow wizards it's time for some PvP FUN!

This tournament will be comprised of gearing rules that will change for each round as well as some very special twists and turns in regards to what spells will not be allowed. So please be sure to read all rules very, VERY carefully!!! If at any point you are confused about anything, please feel free to ask!

So here we go!

Rules:


Please be sure to read each and every rule very carefully!
This tournament is for levels 50-69 only!

Special Rules:

Round 1: Players will ONLY be able to equip a zero stat deck.

Round 2: Players will add 3 pieces of gear: boots, athame, and wand only! Decks may now have stats!

Round 3: Players will add 2 pieces of gear: robe and pet (in addition to the gear they had in round 2)

Round 4: players will add 3 pieces of gear: hat, ring, and amulet (in addition to the gear they had in rounds 2&3)

Note: Pets are not allowed until round 3! With the exception of allowed gear added each round all gear must be zero stats! For example, in round 2, you may have boots, an athame, a wand, and a deck that gives stats. You may wear other gear (no pet till round 3) but they cannot give stats. This applies for each round until a round of full gear is achieved.



Gearing Stat Rules:

**These caps will not go in affect until the last few rounds of the tournament**
55% heal boost(ingoing/outgoing heal combined)
55% resist cap

No may cast wands.
Stat giving mounts cannot be equipped.
The general gearing rule will not be in effect for this tournament as the level range does not exceed 2 tiers.

Spell Rules:

6 dispels allowed (no chain dispelling or stacking)
4 stuns allowed (no chain stunning)
2 insane or wild bolts that hit max damage
Cloak is allowed, but understand, some glitches have been associated with this spell
Any spells trained up to level 69 and below are legal for all players of this tournament

Loremaster
Burning Rampage
Single TC Blades
Shatter
Clockwork Minion-pet is fine but not the card
Supernova
Mana Burn
Energizing Battery (pet talent)
Potent Trap and Sharpen Blade
Guardian Spirit
May Cast Wands
Vengeance(includes may cast pet talent)

Do not forget to declare your wizard's name, school, and level when joining the tournament. You cannot change it once declared.

1) Does gearing rule apply to the jewels within same level tier? For example pierce jewels, obtainable at level 65 (in a match between level 60 and 65).

2) Is Mana Burn item card allowed?
Genral rules say:

Any spells that are trainable at or below the max level of a tournament are allowed by all competitors for that tournament; however, spells that exceed a tournament's level are not allowed for use unless it is a "no rules" tournament or otherwise stated as special rules.

However, the tournament rules states that only Supernova isn't allowed (if we're looking at Balance Avalon spells).

1. Yes the general gearing rule applies to jewels. It will not be a problem in this tournament because the allowed levels for this tournament don't exceed 2 tiers. This is one of the first tournaments with the new gearing rule, originally a difference of one level tier required players to use gear allowed by their lower leveled opponents but no more!

2. Mana Burn is banned for this tournament. Under Spell Rules it says all spells trained up to level 69 are allowed for this tournament unless otherwise stated. Mana Burn requires being Level 72 to learn so it is banned.

The tournament will begin once the spots fill or when the TM, @Icy Witch, feels it is ok to go ahead and begin.

This tournament is designated for wizards levels 50-69. You can level during the tournament as long as you do not pass level 69.
