That wand that Malistaire is holding looks like the Dragon Rider Staff we got as a quest reward in Dragonspyre that we needed to be able to ride the Dragon up to Dragon's Roost.
I think my first reaction is 'Been there. Done that.' Hope there is something better that a re-do of the battle.
