OK but before you invest a lot of time and gold into that 2% be sure you are going to get what you are looking for. Max stats 2.0 alone won't get you there:
      Spell Proof = (2*Strength + 2*Agility + Power)/125 = (2*255 + 2*260 + 250)/125 = 10.24
      Spell Defying = (2*Strength + 2*Agility + Power)/250 = (2*255 + 2*260 + 250)/125 = 5.12
Summed is 15.36, which would still show as 15% resist.

If you are seeing 17% universal resist from someone's pet, they have something else going on there like a selfish talent. My recommendation, if you want a selfish, is to socket it with a jewel instead of building it into the talent pool.

      Good luck!

Re: What is a 2.0 pet?

      Thanks again Valdus,

I am amazed at how you have the pet stats down to a science.

The newer pet stats has Proof with 11 universal defense and Defy with 6 universal defense, unless I have them switched around.

I know it sounds kinda petty or childish, but it seems kinda awesome to have the new stats on a pet to have the extra defense.

What is even weirder, is that I have seen people with the 15% universal damage, with an additional 15% on Ice, Fire and Storm' while socketing a balance defense jewel.

Most of my EAs have the Proof/Defy paired with at least 2 of the may cast pixie, fairy or unicorn heals; and I usually socket a school specific shot jewel for targeting the enemy.
