Day 5/10/15 Chest Rewards Compilation Thread

It's not fair that some are getting such valuable crown items as game kiosks and rare pet opals that are really helpful and others are getting garbage quite frankly and I got an okay mix. Just okay. But not utter garbage.

I wonder if it's got anything to do with how much you've spent recently since I haven't spent since October or November. (I don't quite remember which.)

Are the surprise chest rewards based on level like the gold is? Meaning higher level wiz get better stuff? I forgot to move my max wiz away from the sea lions after completing the 5 day yesterday so i closed the animated reward pop-up so I have NO idea what I got as it does not pop up on the dialog box, either But my younger wizards have not gotten anything good like you have shown here so far.

Wouldn't know it by my two prodigious. They're the ones that got the chest and the kimono. Not sure I even want either one. I'll keep them to see if they fit in some house somewhere when I get to that.

I haven't received anything earth-shatteringly exciting as rewards, but I actually like this update. I wish it hadn't been released buggy (buggy is the new normal, I guess), but I like that the rewards are totally random. This time I get a non Crowns seed. Someday, maybe, I'll get something exciting, like a mount or a mote. I like that the tasks, so far only take a few minutes, but are a way for those of us who don't like/want to PVP, Fish, Derby can eventually earn the arena tickets to buy the elusive pip jewels recently released. I like that it's an attempt to engage players to play regularly. Revisit worlds they haven't thought of in 50 levels. Remember the fun they had.

I'm pretty critical when I don't get what I pay for, hence my disgust at reported bugs regularly making it to Live. I am rarely critical about things I'm given that I haven't explicitly paid for. You'll (almost) never hear me complain that what KI gave away free wasn't enough, shouldn't have been limited, should have been bigger.

This is one part of the update I'm pleased with, even if someone got a mote and I just got a snow apple seed.

You get 30 arena tickets every 15 days, pip jewels are selling for 275 arena tickets, that is more than 135 days ( 4 1/2 months) you have to do the daily quest for one jewel. Conversely, you can enter 1 tournament and lose and get one. Keep in mind arena tickets are not shareable and the jewels are all no trade.

I do realize no one has to do these assignments, I also realize anything you get is a bonus. I do believe however, KI could have been a bit more generous on the tickets/crowns and a lot more equitable on the chest rewards.

I tend to take a longer term, bigger picture view on these things. Over enough rolls of the virtual dice, everyone will get good stuff, ok stuff, and downright yuck stuff. It took me seemingly forever to get my first potent trap card, but I got an exalted life ammy the second time I tried farming for the TC. And so it goes. Most people I am guessing have pretty similar stories.

Just like @mags mentioned, I like that I can get some arena tickets since there is no way I will receive any with the alternative methods. And I also just love going to visit those areas that I haven't seen for a while. Even for just a few minutes.

I also am just disappointed that every update seems to be full of problems that should have been resolved in test. I don't understand why most of these things don't get addressed through the process set up in place for the sole purpose of identifying and correcting problems before they get to live.

On my 25 wizards, I got defy gem, a kiosk, critical stiker gem, baby carrots, red urn, crystal minor plant thing, mote of beauty, a few gems not worth remembering, porters, wooden well and other assorted things. XP
All random drops. Oh, a sonic spring too.
