Do you prefer soloing the Spiral or teaming up with others?

To me there is nothing i like more then fighting and questing with good friends. I do normally solo normal and occasionally elite creatures myself because they're not to hard but when it comes to bosses i love fighting with my bro or with my life friend, or both. Me and my bro both started at the same time after we saw the zafaria and wintertusk commercials and we decided to try it. At first we both did our own thing until we got membership and started questing the spiral. Even though we got seperated quest wise we still helped eachother out. Now around the release of azteca, i met a person at my school who played and we friended in game, constantly being showoffs to eachother. So my life frined and brother have known eachother a while and at this point i am rambling on and well back to my point. I don't think i would have had as good of a experience in game had i not spent it questing and fighting with those two. In the next world we plan to quest together.

I apologize if you read this and i rambled and got off topic a lot, it happens to me quite often.

It really depends on what wizard I am playing on. If I'm on my balance, then sure, a questing buddy is great because then I can just boost them and we can get battles done a lot quicker. But if I'm on my death, which I basically created just to solo, then I won't really worry about questing buddies, because I know he can handle it.

I can't stand soloing (and really it would have been extremely challenging anyways with a storm character) because I like having soemone to talk to and work together with, it also makes things go by very quickly if you work out a strategy early on. On the other hand, I prefer questing with my brother or another close friend so that we are really cooperative and in the case of a sibling, are usually playing at the same time. This allows for much easier communication and teamwork.

When I first started the game I had help from most of my friends. I was a complete noob compared to them. However, when most of my friends stopped playing, I started questing on my own. Which was something that I liked mainly because I could go at my own pace and quest at odd times. I soloed cheating bosses and dungoens before, even though it took me many times to get used to it! However, I'm not afraid to ask for help (err, kind of). If I know it's a world's final dungeon or if I already tried a few times and keep getting defeated I'd ask for help on here.

My friend and I also created a second account so we are now working with four wizards, trying to get our baby wizards (as I dub them) up to Azteca. Once they catch up to his wizard we'll be catching them up to my main one and probably quest with them when the third arc comes out.

So, I will say that I'm fine with either.

I prefer solo questing honestly. The main reason for that isn't because I dislike group questing, it's more of the fact that if I'm questing with people and they aren't on I don't want to feel bad about leveling without them.

For me I like to do both at times personally.

I like to solo just to see how far I can get on my own. To me that's a nice challenge level/factor to see how good I am at that current point in time. Plus if all else fails and other people aren't on/don't want to help me out then I can always summon minions and henchmen to help me out in fights if need be.

That being said though however, I am 100% NOT against teaming up with other people. If I come across something that I just can't solo for the life of me (after trying it out a few times by myself first of course) then I will not hesitate to team-up with someone else if I can. Plus as an MMO game there's naturally gonna be some fights that are meant to be done with a group, such as the Castle Darkmoor dungeons for example there. Also, sometimes it just gets so boring being alone all the time, so questing with others is honestly just a nice change of pace from the often lonely soloing experience that can happen at times, at least for me it is anyways.

I think that it's also important to note that like @Azura said earlier, just because a multiplayer game has some parts that are meant to done in a group doesn't mean that they (the company that made the game) hate soloists. Believe it or not a game can have some parts that can be done solo and parts that are meant to be done in a group.

TL;DR Sometimes I'll solo just to see how far I can get on my own and/or if no one else is on to help me out. However, soloing 24/7 can get really boring after a while, so grouping up with other people can honestly just be a nice change of pace from the sometimes lonely solo experience that can happen at times. Plus since some parts of the game are designed around group-play (which is perfectly fine and not evil by the way), it's a win-win there honestly, so there's that at least.

Going solo is a bit boring imo. But I play at leisure with my little sisters and cousins, so of course I'd find playing the game with others more enjoyable. I solo'd my first wizard and it eventually became this boring pattern of blade, hit, turn in quest. Playing with my family , I can take the time to enjoy the game with others.

Soloing is like talking to yourself. Eventually you get into an argument with yourself, and lose, and then everybody feels bad.

It's always better to have [s]victims[/s] companions with whom you can be cheeky and incur many obligations therein.

Teaming up is not so much the word I would use for the button that tells you "click here if you are from Australia or have no friends"

Instead it should read
