Do you prefer soloing the Spiral or teaming up with others?

So, sometimes I'll be going along in whatever world it may be - most recently Zafaria, Avalon and Azteca - and I'll stumble on a wizard who happens to be in the same battle as me and asks, "What quest are you on?" I immediately know where this is leading, and although I cringe a bit inside, I tell them. For whatever reason, 90% of the time it seems we're on the same quest. So, inevitably, they ask to be questing buddies.

Personally, I don't like questing buddies. I like the production that results from having them, as you get things done much faster. But I would much rather quest alone than deal with chatting to others all the time. To many; perhaps most, it is a fun thing that keeps them entertained. But to me, it's a burden. And sometimes I get people that won't stop talking. Sometimes I just want to tell them to stop talking, but I know that would be rude.

All in all, the pros and cons weigh in about equally. If I had the same production from soloing as questing with buddies, I would probably stay hidden to friends 100% of the time and always play on perfect realms. But sometimes I have to tolerate questing with others. What is your opinion on this - do you prefer questing alone or with others?

I like to do both, if I want to be alone I can easily solo on my Death. Sometimes I just like to have a team so the entire battle is not dependent on you.

Questing buddies somehow implies you are going to wait for them before you progress, I have a hard time with that as I like to quest when I feel like it and do not always want to wait on someone's schedule.

I do half and half. It really depends on the person I'm questing with.

I agree with this. This is another reason questing with buddies can be a burden - you feel like at any moment you could have to stop questing so they can go do whatever it is IRL. Just another obligation.

Solo. A few reasons got some back problems that flare up and sometimes just have to leave the computer now. I don't want to leave someone in a battle. (Doc's won't operate yet, but happy to hand me pills for the day and some more for the nite. ) I do odd hours and move at my own pace. I don't mind the odd team up when asked if in an area. Even if I already finished the quest. And it's fun that way.

I quest solo so I can fight at my leisure and enjoy the NPC dialogue and scenery without somebody rushing me to go to the next objective. Each time a new world comes, I go invisible to friends for as long as it takes me to complete most of that world. I only team up as a last resort for difficult instances, after I have tested the waters and determine them to be too hard for me to take on on my own.

I like both. I like the challenge of solo. But I also like the company. But, good company is hard to find! Somehow, most folks seem to think after questing together for a small period of time, you're obligated to loop back and "catch meh up bruh" until you end up deleting them.

If I paired up with someone, it was pretty much just for the day. Trying to coordinate future times and stay on the same quest is just too much work.

Solo. In my experience with questing buddies, I haven't thought that they were the best players. I like to blade and setup for a one hit kill, and my questing buddies didn't understand that strategy. I like to speed through battles as quickly as possible, so attacking whenever didn't really work out for me. I like to solo because I use the strategy I like most.

I prefer to solo. If I need help with something I normally ask fellow centrallers. Every now and then I get the "same-quest" person and I'll quest with them until they leave. I never add them though; not because I don't like them, but when I quest I want to get it done. So I don't wait for others. I mainly like to solo, because it's usually the "Add me", "Blah Blah Blah", or "Do this and that" kind of people I run into. If I do happen to run into them I'll just ignore.
