When did you begin playing Wizard101?

But anyway, I'm proud to be in the 2010 club. I joined June 5, 2010, mere months before the release of Celestia.

07/08/09 - no kidding! I received an email from MyPoints. I had been re-playing the Roberta Williams Anthology (King's Quest 1-7, anyone?) and fell in love with Wizard101 immediately. This was my first experience with an MMO and how I wish my old friends were still playing. I did take a couple of breaks between then and now but it keeps pulling me back...

I joined in January of 2013. Never actually played the game until September 2013 because I was occupied by a certain other game.

3rd account was 8-21-13 **

4th account was 5-13-14

Just last night I was thinking about starting a 5th. lol

I even have a W101 UK account I created on 7-3-11 when I couldn't log in to W101 and I really wanted to play. Thankfully the issue was finally solved and I never used that account again so I don't even know if I could log in to it now.


** The 3rd is one I helped my niece set up so she could play with her daughter who loves to watch me play. Think she played once or twice and then she reverted back to her selfish ways. Which is why I set it up with one of my e-mails. I took it over and it is the one I use to teach my great niece to play. She even created her own wizard picking the school, hair and clothes colors. I created the rest but mostly to hold cards except for one that I use to farm and garden so she will have a head start when she gets a little older and can play on her own with a little help. I have been teaching her the keyboard and mouse controls lately. She really wants to learn how to fish.

Also has an account here but I don't use it except to log in every so often and enter raffles for her. With the crowns won last year I bought most of WC when they were half price the first time and with the crowns earned from quizzes I bought the rest of WC when half price the second time.

She even helps on the quizzes with pictures and is learning from watching me while I do hers and mine.

I also found W101 because of MyPoints. I still have the e-mail from 7-3-09 about the Frog Pond and did it to get the 25 points for trying it and writing a review. Even got a code for W101 for free gold. I waited a few days and joined on 7-11 . LOL

Started in late 09. Was mostly playing ToonTown instead of Wiz but I switcched between the two on occasion. I remember playing it a lot but I only mananged to get to level 21... I distinctly remember when the pet abilities first came up I spend a week training up a unicorn with only dropped snacks... Still pains me that I was only months away from the dragon mount ;c

I made a wizard on my cousin's account in December of 2008, and on that Christmas, I made my own account (which means it turns six soon)! I don't really consider this 2008 though, because it was the end of the year.

It's nice to see that so many people joined at such a wide range of times, and continue playing to this day!
