Re: Rolling Over in His Grave: A guide to the Graveyard

As all new things, it will get easier as people gain experience with it. If you can hit hard and fast in the first 2 battles, by round 3, which is quite doable, you can avoid the majority of the cheats there.

Using pets with fairy and unicorn during malistare will go a long way to avoiding to have to heal at all during this battle. Again, take out the minions by round 3, they are way annoying, you can feint these guys, so get a feint on each, blade your hammer and be done with them. You always want to cast blades last, as that "earthquake" dragon is unpredictable in frequency, I have seen it go 3 turns, 4 turns, and 2 times in a row.

Once the minions are gone, it is just a matter of creative trap stacking to be done with old mally.

Just an update to the Malistaire fight: Tower shields and similarly single shields are now banned from the fight. Dual shields such as Glacial Shield for example are not.

What do you mean banned? You can't cast them? He stole all our tower shields last week D: Is there something new?

By banned I mean that it's pointless to even cast them since he will just steal them for himself anyways.

Re: Rolling Over in His Grave: A guide to the Graveyard

      More updates:

      • Shadow Malistaire now has universal resistance (approx. 60% or so). This includes the Shadow school as well.
      • The Bone Drake attacks are now triggered by Malistaire himself and can go critical now as well.
      • Not sure if this is new or not, but the Bone Drake's Earthquake effect does trigger Empowerment as well.
      • Shadow Malistaire now has some additional spells of his own outside of the Bone Drake, his life-stealing natural attack and cheat cast attacks as well, including but not limited to: Deathblade, Death Spear, Scarecrow, Doom and Gloom (damage version), Shadow Shield, Deer Knight. These attack spell are all enhanced Colossal versions of them as well.
      • The actual Graveyard portion of the dungeon itself now has both Health wisps and Wooden chests as well.

Re: Rolling Over in His Grave: A guide to the Graveyard

In the follow up to my post on the other thread....

Shane's cheats are a bit different.

It still acts in a somewhat 4 round cycle for the Shane's Monster beguile.

      Round 1 he did nothing.
      Round 2 he used Vampire.
Round 3 he used Doctor Von's.
Round 4 he used Shane's Monster.
Round 5 he used Shane's Monster and kept using it every round after that.

One of our teammates died from his glowbug storm. The rounds after that looked like this:
      Round 1 he did nothing.
      Round 2 he used Vampire.
Round 3 he used Doctor Von's.
Round 4 he used Shane's Monster and kept on using it.

Another teammate of ours died later on and the same pattern above occurred. It seems that the cycle repeats every time that someone on your team dies. I would guess that this is also how the original fight operates.

Also, Yevgeny has Shane's Monster. He used it on our team twice. I didn't notice a pattern between the casts, or if it even was a cheat cast. He may just have it trained. But, we didn't expect our hitter to be beguiled by that.

Re: Rolling Over in His Grave: A guide to the Graveyard

I am really kind of surprised they made it more difficult, as opposed to easier. Today I read somewhere to dot on shane to prevent beguile, it worked on the death version of him, so perhaps it would work here too, maybe he is just belloq on steroids lol.

Ran Wednesday after update. The first boss now puts absorbs on random minions also, plus they added a lot of frost giants for minons to play, was interesting to say the least lol.

And boy did they power up mally, gah.

Re: Rolling Over in His Grave: A guide to the Graveyard

hey guys! I know there have been a TON of updates to these dungeons, I'm working on updating them this weekend. I could use the following info, if anyone has it.

      - what triggers the "Leave this Place" cheat by Yevgeny's minions? Right now it seems that it may be related to wards in some way, but I can't narrow down how specifically.
      - what triggers the mass infect cheat from the death draconians at Malistaire? It seems to be related to heals, but as not all heals trigger it, it's been tricky to figure out.

There are still major problem with getting down the dragon's attack/cleanse charms/cleanse wards timing in the Mali fight; it doesn't seem to be consistent at ALL. If anyone has any insight into that, I'd greatly appreciate it.

As far as the Mali fight goes, I won't be putting any recommendations or solid cheat info in yet, as 1. as the fight currently stands as of the updates on Thursday (the huge inate pierce specifically), there are literally no recommendations I can give that will ensure you get through this fight alive, and 2. I suspect that because of this the cheats will be changing yet again over the weekend.

Now THAT is odd. Not what I saw when we were dropping like flies while testing yesterday, lol. Maybe that was also changed along with the addition of all that pierce when it was updated last? I'll see if I can get more info on that today.
