From what KI said, you can actually Report beggars. So when you see them just report them and move on with the day, then hopefully they will learn not to do it anymore.

Well...

People ask for gifts from others just to try and fool them, a lot of the time. If I want something, I work for it myself. If someone offers to gift me, I generally decline. I gift people, but only people I know in real life who are friends of mine.

When people ask for gifts, I decline. I say that I don't have the crowns (Generally true, sometimes not). I ignore them, and be on my way. If they persist, then I would report them if they start going bad.

You can only gift crowns items from the crown shop, you cannot gift membership/crowns to another person EXCEPT by purchasing it and emailing a code for it online.

You can not report people for begging, only if they ask for personal info.

Half the time, no one gets anything. But sometimes people get something

Not sure why a total stranger would think I would gift them anything, but I see so much of it going on I really do wonder if it works for them. Gifting friends is one thing, but these are total strangers!

And thanks for the tip, I thought of reporting them, but did not really see it breaking a rule.

To be honest, it doesn't really bother me that much so I just walk away and if they persist I'll add them onto my ignore list for a little bit. Not worth ranting over, really.

It's funny, the other morning a guy said '' I wish I had a I DON'T GIFT badge, and his friend said '' they could also make the '' PROFESSIONAL BEGGER badge too!

Could you please link us to an official source? It's not that we don't believe you; it's just that we don't want to risk getting in trouble for false reports if you're wrong.
