      Could be a bug. You know everytime KI updates something, the health bug seems to come back.

      One time I was doing 1v1 on my 28 ice. It showed me as dead one round, and I could use a spell, then the next round I was alive and I couldn't use a spell. The next round was me dead being able to use a spell, the round after that was alive and I couldn't and it went on and on.

      It has happened to me twice in the last week, and I was able to catch both times on video. Both times were in PvP.

      Like you, I wonder why this happens in PvP but not in PvE. Then I remembered that when the Waterworks first came out, there was a glitch in the last boss fight where you would defeat the bosses and one of them would come back with some health. They fixed it after a month or so. Maybe the same thing that ocurred there happens in the arena sometimes.

      Both have been in the past week. The first time I experienced it was I think last monday or tuesday. What I just noticed is both times I have experienced the health glitch someone in the ring has had GS on. Could it be something connected to that?

      I wouldn't say it's a "hack" or client side modification. In almost all games that are coded well, health is controlled SERVER SIDED, not by the client. If someone were to try to set their health too high, the server would detect it as a MALFORMED PACKET and ignore it. This is in most games, but I don't know in Wizard101. It seems to be well coded, with there being a small number of glitches, compared to something like Minecraft, for example.

      This happens to me a lot actually at one point we killed the whole other team (they were puppets) the lvl 90 life came back with 12 pips odd because when she died she had 3 pips she fasted rebirth critical right after and we ended up fighting for 2 more hours, we killed them again but the lvl 1 noob came back with full health did not matter though we killed right away.

      Not to make a comment about whether or not W101 is coded well or not, (because I have no opinion on the matter), but I have witnessed people make health adjustments in W101 PvP. Those people are no longer playing the game so I cannot get the details, but they knew how to do it.

      Still to this day, people can read from the client log and tell people what will be their next moves in the upcoming round, down to when the pet will cast Spritely.

      I would look at cloak with a suspicious eye. I saw a bug with regular cloak and treasure cloak on bad juju causing an issue like this. Also, others reported an issue with infallible and cloaked shields counting the infallible twice. Cloak is also not generally used in PVE so it could be related to that somehow.
      KingsIsle is being foolish by not implementing one of the reasonable solutions to the bank and backpack restrictions.

      Just happened to me again and believe it or not GS was in the mix. IMO its connected to GS every time it happens to me GS is on me or someone in the ring.
