I feel that actual crown paying members spend more on Wizard101 than Subscribers do.
The reason behind the test realm access is just because of Kingsisle and their never ending greed for money.

Re: Test Realm Rule for Crowns Players

The rule makes sense, but they should modify it slightly. Since a member player would have spend $120 for a year, I would say that a reasonable rule is to let Crown players in if they have spent over $120 in the last year, or $20 in the last month.

Please lets not start this argument again. It is clearly stated in other posts that the test realm is smaller and that data needs to be copied over. Alot of data! They have to control it somehow and that is a valid reason to do so. Imagine the lag trying to even test anything with everyone trying to log in.

As far as "I spend more than you do" arguments, that is just not true. Unless of course subscribers had unlimited access to crown items, which we don't, so we buy crowns too. How much you want to spend is your personal choice. There are different options and perks for crowns vs subscriber which are clearly stated when you sign up. Choose accordingly which method works best for you.

Re: Test Realm Rule for Crowns Players

I have two crowns accounts. I have no problem with the rule of having to purchase crowns recently to get into Test. If I haven't done so I can decide if I really want to do Test that time and can buy crowns if I do. I usually do because I will need those crowns if new areas are coming out anyways.

One solution could be if you have purchased crowns since the last Test instead of 30 days.

On my main I don't buy them as often now since I own most areas. I have been buying mostly for my second account in the past few months.

I had to buy crowns this month on both so I can get ZF done before Avalon comes out, so even though I can go on Test now I haven't had time.

      --
I am still annoyed by the label of "free trial player" and that we can't post or have access to certain areas of W101's forum. I have no desire to do so (I prefer here anyways) but still it is like the hundreds of dollars I have spent since 2009 isn't good enough. I am fine with the other perks that Subs get but I should rank ahead of F2P people.

When we tested ZF, I had the Error 126 a few days before it happened to a lot of players, they asked for feedback but I couldn't because I am classified as "free trial" and was unable to even access the page.

I understand their options and am not complaining about how much I spend. I just think KI should reconsider what they consider a free-to-play player. After spending my money I think I should have more priviledges than someone who spends no money at all. Why can't KI just let the crown players who have purchased all the areas up to the current one they are introducing availability to the test realm? Why can't we post on certain areas that we pay for too? Why can't I report someone who is cursing and acting badly when I have been here for 2 years and spent my money just like all the subscribers? Why do I have that annoying pop up screen when I log off, I know all about the game after two years. I just want consideration for the money I have spent with KI, instead of being treated as not worthy.

Would be unfair ro subcribers because they pay monthly and after crowns players buy all the area they do not have to pay to get in.
I agree, Prince. Subscribers have to keep paying for content, while once Crowns players buy an area, they will have it forever.
It may seem unfair, but it isn't, imo. I think the current system for the Test Realm is fine.

Well, they want us crown players to buy more crowns if we haven't recently.
