What non-crown gardening seeds drop the most mega snacks?

I'm trying to get my first pet to epic, so I'm starting a garden (I never did gardening).
I remember hearing people say that Prickly Bear Cactus drop megas, but I got 4 of them, and none dropped a mega even at elder. My Evil Magma Peas have been dropping awesome megas at elder, but I got those from drops. Anyone?

Prickly bear cactus is the best non-crowns option, they're the only one that replenishes fully their seeds and the only plant to drop mega snacks at normal harvests.

Prickly Bear Cactus is the best. Once you have your advanced gardening spells I would suggest planting a garden of as many as you can fit under a large spell. This will normally give you somewhere between 10-20 mega snacks with each full cycle (seed to elder harvest). Do the same thing on multiple wizards and you can really multiply the snacks.

Re: What non-crown gardening seeds drop the most mega snacks?

Although baby carrots can drop baby carrots, I'd still have to go with prickly bears, as they can drop 2 different megas at mature and elder, and plus they usually give another seed of them at elder as well.

You won't always get megas, but with allot of prickly bear cactus's, they will at least increase your chances at getting some.

White Tiger Lily. Although it does not give its own seed, you can sometimes find it at the bazaar. It also drops in Helephant Tower and in Mirror Lake. At elder you have a high chance of getting a fancy yogurt mega snack.

You don't really see the benefit of PBCs until you plant 32 or even 37 in an area covered by the large area spell. This drastically increases the chances of getting mega snack drops; I usually get 10-20 per full growth cycle in my garden of 32. Give them another shot.
