All Easter Eggs in Wizard101!

First of all over the years I have come back often to read this thread because it is very interesting to know all of this information and the time thought put into it all! I love that this game includes so much history of movies, people, music, and places. Kids and Adults can learn from it and that is such an amazing thing to me.

I have an addition that I should have put on here a long time ago. The pet snack Poncherello Chips is a reference to Officer Frank Poncherello (Erik Estrada) off the hit TV series CHIPS from the 1980s. The snack has the shape of a star for the police badge and the face of Eric Estrada! I loved this show, so I am a fan of this snack!!! Keep adding info guys! This is totally wonderful!

I have Easter eggs!

im sure people have mentioned the whole Page Jimmy in Avalon thing being a reference to the Led Zepplin member Jimmy Page. Well I have a few more references to music and movies.

Perry Gilliam in AV is a play on Terry Gilliam of Monty Python fame.

Robin Bravely in AV is based off Brave Sir Robin in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

My favorite reference is also in the form of the Labyrinth fish which can be caught in the Labyrinth of DS.

This fish is based off a character played by the late David Bowie in a Jim Henson movie called Layrinth where he played the antagonist Jareth. It's a weird 80s movie. Great reference from KI though.

Also, Page Jimmy's In through the outdoor quest could be a reference to a lyric in the Prince song Raspberry Beret.

1 the movie is Labyrinth not Layrinth.

2 Page Jimmy is a reference to Jimmy Page guitarist of Led Zeppelin

When your level 88 and Dworgyn summons you about the Avenging Fossil the dialogue he uses is a reference to the American tv show The Price is Right where an announcer tells the contestant to "come on down, your the next contestant on the Price is Right."

In quest "break stuff" in Azteca, the explosion is mentioned as big badaboom, which is from movie the fifth element.

There's a problem with one of the Easter eggs here. Green Lantern rings are powered by willpower and ability to overcome fear (courage). Courage is not synonymous with fearless.

I don't know if this counts, I'm not good with Easter Eggs. I forgot what the quest was all about so...

The quest name, "Walpurgisnacht" (also known as Walpurgis Night) is a Dutch and German names for "Night of April 30th"

It's also a witch name in "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," but they probably took that Easter Egg too lol

For the quest, the Pixiecrown Project, it refers to the television show "The Mindy Project", written by Mindy Kaling (and Pixiecrown's first name is Mindy). I believe that would be filed under Wizard City!
