A guide specially made for Pyromancers
This desk provides good offense and good defense for the first boss.
I would recommend buying a Fire Battle Elixir and a Battle Elixir for this dungeon because you do not want to end up fizzling.
This is the best option, but if you do not have this gear yet, that's okay!
You can still use the Level 60+ gear from the Dragon's Hoard pack or crowns gear to fight.
I would recommend to have the Battle Field Blessing Charm because if you fizzle you can stop the boss from using Death Dragon on you, but anything else is fine as well.
While each wizard has his or her unique tastes in abilities and appearance, I would recommend The Life force Blade or the Blistering Baton.
Ring & Athame
The Bear's Claw of Fire and Ruby Ring of Battle will give you some good damage and critcal block rating, but lack healing boost.
If you don't have those though and you would prefer to have a healing boost then you can craft one of the ring recipes usually found in Winter Tusk, my favorites are:
Ring of Wolf Lore: It offers 15% outgoing boost, 4% damage boost, and 15% pips.
CRAFT: The Topaz Bear Claw Athame offers 11% incoming and 15% outgoing boost while also charging you up with a 6% damage boost, 10% pip and 8% critical block rating. - Highly recommended!
Okay, now that we have our desk and our gear ready, it's time to fight!
So, go climb the rope and meet me on top of the tour for our next lesson in strategy.
In this corner, we have 4 different enemies.
Tarus the Clever:
He is a myth monster with (21,000) health, he will blade Ervin whenever you blade up as well.
Ervin the Barbarian:
I would entirely ignore this fellow until the end because he will always carry a -90% shield which makes it impossible to kill him at the time being.
These guys are pretty easy to kill and you should go for them first because they can be a bit of a pain if ignored.
Eventually when you are down to only Ervin, there will be random rounds of the appearance of Leviathan, he will randomly attack anyone in the circle including enemies.
You should always have a storm shield on you for this because it will do 1,160 to Wizards who have the legendary gear, but could do about 2,000 damage to those with low storm resist, so again you will always need a storm shield on you if you want to live.
"Ran the Tower of the Helephant with 3 wizards. Life, Balance, and Fire.
Thanks to Paige SpiritHeart - Life Wizard, and Diana SkyBreeze - Balance Wizard for their exellent team work.
In first battle we knocked out the 2 pigs first, then the Minoutar. Finally the Boar Ervin.
Died a couple of times, and had to re-enter solo to catch back up with the team.
Death dispell would have been useful. Pet Spritely fizz also results in Bone Dragon - so maybe more trouble than it's worth for this battle."
Going Down Under:
Okay, so you've beaten all the monsters in the first floor, great! But now we have to go down further in order to get the heart of the helephant.
The next few rounds are fairly easy, just use dragon and or Meteor to quickly finish the job and this will continue until you reach the Helephant him self, he won't cheat though, but you will need to put a couple of fire prisims on him because he has quite a good amount of resist for fire on him.
The Final Battle:
So, you've beaten the rest, but can you duel the best?
Now you have much of a challenge here.
The final boss will constantly put in minions every turn until he reaches a certain amount of health ( Between 5,000 - 100)
If all the spots in the enemy dueling circle become full then the boss will cast an ice meteor before your next turn every round, so be sure to kill them fast and put up ice shields just in case.
I would recommend you as a fire wizard to use meteor or dragon to remove the minions while the other wizards focus on defeating the boss.
Once the boss stops casting the crowd (minions) you can use efreet on the boss to finish him for good.
"Last battle - quite interesting. Storm boss - Myth minions. We used attack all to try to keep minions under control. He will spawn a minion until the all circles are full. Then he will ice meteor every round. After a few rounds of minions, they started getting stronger. Initially they had 1500 health... Later they had 2500 health + and start with 4 power pips. All of us died at least once in last battle, and had to re-enter. Final boss also removed traps.
Best drop was a level 60 ring at final boss. Took us about 4.5 hours"
After you defeat him, you're done and be sure to grab the heart of the helephant before departing.
You did it!!
Thanks for reading this guide and I hope it will help you with the Tower of the Helephant.
PS: Suggestions are welcome.
Thanks everyone for their recent comments and suggestions.
I'm still working on this guide, so if you feel that this guide may need more work, feel free to reply and I may put your suggestion into the guide with your permission.
Note: I'm still working on this, it's not 100% finished yet as I am still going through the tower and figuring out different tactics, but if you have anything you'd like to share feel free to post.
