      Disarm costing more than pierce

      It has come to my attention that the storm school's spell disarm(1 pip- remove a positive charm) costs more than pierce(0 pips- remove a positive ward). This is fundamentally unfair to storm students here is why.
      1) There is a clear precedent that charm manipulation spells cost correspondingly less than ward manipulation spells A clear example is this: Steal ward(2 pips steal positive ward) costs one more pip than steal charm(1 pip steal positive charm). I assumed that ward manipulations costing more was due to wards being more effective than charms(-70% vs +30, 35 or 40%). With disarm this precedent is not only ignored,it is turned on its head.
      2) We gain no direct benefit from disarm- Disarm simply acts to remove said charm from opponent, we do not recieve this charm to use in any way. Steal charm(1 pip-steal positive charm from opponent) on the other hand steals an opponent's allowing it to be used to our benefit, yet it is the same cost as Disarm?
      3) Disarm is ineffective against the elemental blades and spritual blades- Disarm simply removes one of these blades( the fire and life respectively) which renders the charm only 1/3 effective against triblades, pierce encounters the same problem against balance's elemental shields but yet it costs less than disarm?

      Of course disarm's accuracy is 100%, some might say this justifies its one pip cost, but does it? It does not simply because Pierce is also 100% accuracy. Why can the 100% accuracy ward removal spell be allowed to stand w/o a pip cost wheras the 100% accuracy charm removal spell must have a cost(in clear defiance of precedent).
      These observations imply a clear double standard when it comes to storms spell disarm. In the interest of consistency and game balance(not to mention the fact that you dislike nerfing spells), I suggest that the most satisfactory solution would be to lower disarm's cost to zero pips.       P.S: as an added bonus this can be a legitimate storm update vs the bogus one currently on your site which suggests that cleanse charm was changed to zero pips when it has ALWAYS cost zero pips.

      I have always wondered why disarm costs a pip but I never complained. You make a very good point. I hope KI takes this into consideration.

      Yep, I do agree I happen to use pierce and disarm in PvP and always wonder why disarm is one pip and not zero pips although I guess that only is a one pip difference but sometimes it might be a big difference.

      Blades work on AoEs and traps I have to use singular on each person if I want it to work for an AoE, traps work for a single person/mob.
      That's why it cost 1 pip.

      It costs one pip because Storm does more damage per pip than any other school. It might seem unfair but we can't have it all on Storm. There has to be some compromise.
