This is probably one of the most complicated rug glitches, but it's extremely useful for people who don't have much money or need space for item count. In this guide I try to explain it as best as I can.
Things you need:
An ornate Oval Rug (Or a really big rug)
As many rugs as you want for your glitch (I use long blue runners in this example)
Three Lunar rugs
Two jellybean crates
One Red Cushion
Step One: set down two Lunar Rugs next to each other. (See picture One)
Step Two: attach a long blue runner to it. (See picture Two)
Step Three: move the strip of rugs by selecting the middle lunar rug and hit move (See Picture three) note that the lunar rugs can't go over the edge, but the long blue runner can. This IS supposed to happen.
Step Four: Delete the lunar rugs by selecting the OUTER ONE (the middle one will delete all) and press deleter. (See picture Four)
Step Five: Take two Jellybean crate and stack them side to side. Then, take a red cushion and set it to the side of the jellybean crates. (See picture Five)
Step Six: Take the ornate oval rug and place it to the side of the workshop. Take a lunar rug and attach it to the very edge of the Ornate Oval Rug. (See picture Six)
Step Seven: Select the LUNAR RUG and move it on top of the jellybean crates. The lunar rug cannot hang off the edge off the crates, but the ornate oval rug should. (See picture seven)
Step Eight: Select the red cushion and move it about 2/3 of the way off the edge of the long blue runner. The Ornate oval rug should move with it. (See picture Eight)
Step Nine: Repeat steps one and two (See picture Nine)
Step Ten: Move the strip of rugs by selecting the middle lunar rug. Move them on top of the Ornate oval rug. This part is VERY important. Make sure the slightest edge AT LEAST (you can have more) is hanging over the edge of the Ornate oval rug. This is so you can delete it then. (See picture Ten)
Step Eleven: Select that very corner of the lunar rug you left hanging and press delete. This should leave just the red cushion. Delete the red cushion and you're finished! (See picture Eleven)
EDIT: When I said small lunar rugs i meant blue trim rugs.
