Re: Illustrated Guide to Training Points and Deck Setup

I see no point in using Deadly Minotaur if you have a Myth Amulet. The mutate is there so that a Necromancer can circumvent the School barriers and use a concept of a different School. If you really want to use the Myth Mastery Amulet for your Necromancer, then one could just train it all the way to Earthquake as well, and just use the normal Minotaur when appropriate (Unless the blade boosts are really necessary)

Otherwise I'd train Minotaur, Mutate Minotaur, and get an Amulet for another School, though really there's no better School to pair with Death, if there even is any. Buuuut that's just me. Your setup will do just fine, I am just an OCD type of person with some things.

I see your point. I could train up to Earthquake. A great idea at that. The amulet is used for a deadly threat in the right type of situation. So, if I can't find my Death Minotaur mutation card, then I can strike them with minotaur right off the bat. But if I had Earthquake, i'd not use it much since I can manage to get those shields off rather quickly. But yet again, good point.

Re: Illustrated Guide to Training Points and Deck Setup

I personally keep a small deck from 15-18 spell deck(pinewood or first death deck) for normal questing. Mid-size deck just in case. I of course make sure I used 1 training pip on Reshuffle from that hidden trainer in Collosus Blvd.
I wish I did do the Myth run, hmm may spend the crowns to switch at least to frog. I chose storm, and ice to tower.

To each his own I guess.

Deadly minotaur has higher damage and you get boost from gear and death blade.

Also i wouldnt train mutate minotaur. Save tp and buy treasures - it will be more effective. +add vengeance and conviction.
