There are a couple others of these but I felt like adding my own version of it. Here goes nothing.
Intro
Death is one of the easiest schools to play in the game. We don't need to have healing cards unless we are bringing someone else along, and we can just use sacrifice for that. Death is the only school where I prefer having no other cards from any school in the deck. If you have prisms, you shouldn't need any other spells. Thats just my opinion. If you feel the need, you can get some other spells that I'll mention later.
This is the description of the Death school that I found on the Wizard101 website.

Death School
"The Death School will train its student wizards to steal and support themselves. Death Wizards belong to an advanced school, simply because most of their spells take multiple step combinations to use effectively.
Their spells aren’t the strongest, but some have the ability to absorb health from the enemy, which serves as a way for them to heal themselves. They have many preparatory spells that allow them to build up high-damage spells."
I think this description is pretty accurate. But it says Death is advanced, but their spells aren't strong. In a way, Death has the strongest spells in the game. There isn't any other school that heals and attack in one card. And with a level 48 spell like Scarecrow, you can do a lot.
A description I found in the Death school at the book:
"Death is finality, the study of the corporeal. Practitioners of the Death Art, known as Necromancers, understand this limitation and strive to face it unafraid. Death's power comes from the removing of order from the universe at large. Withdrawing the power of order and allowing chaos to return instills Necromancers to bend magic to their will. Necromancers draw on the power of courage to channel their own fears out of themselves and at their adversaries. Death sits between Ice and Storm, for the cold energy of undeath lies between those two forces. Onyx is the gemstone of Death, while black and white are the school's other colors.Death is finality, the study of the corporeal. Choosing a Secondary School
Everyone has a different opinion on this. I came up with two different ways to spend your Training points. The PvP way and the PvE way. If you are planning to use your Death wizard for PvP, use the first way. If you plan to stick with just PvE, use the second way.
PvP
-Life to Satyr (7 TP's) If you are planning to do 2v2, Satyr is a must. Spirit Armor is also helpful.
-Balance to Weakness (3 TP's) Weakness is always a PvP must.
-Ice to Tower Shield (5 TP's) This can get you shields and the Tower Shield spell, a lifesaver (literally) in PvP.
-Spirit Trap and Spirit Blades (2 TP's) You can get these from the Balance tree, Niles, in the Krokoshpinx. It always help to have two Death blades, and is helpful to have more Death Traps.
-Reshuffle (1 TP) Keeps you in lots of battles, PvP or PvE.
PvE
-Storm to Stormzilla (9 TP's) This is definetly just my opinion. Others mostly go with Life. I like the damage you get from Storm.
-Spirit Trap and Spirit Blades (2 TP's) Still very helpful in all battles. These are spells you need no matter what.
-Reshufle (1 TP) This spell is great in Dragonspyre and Mooshu (probably Celestia but I haven't gotten on the Test Realm yet) Usually if you run out of cards, your dead. With Reshuffle you are saved a lot when soloing bosses (and at many other times).
-Ice to To Tower Shield (5 TP's) A spell that will help you a lot. This is very important to have.
You will have 1 TP left over for what ever you want to spend it on

Level 58 Skeletal Dragon Quest Guide
Skeletal Dragon is the only Death card you get that does damage over time besides Poison. Its helpful to get around shields, so its definetly a great PvP spell. It seems like its not very powerful, but with a Blade and a Spirit Blade, it can do over 800 damage per round (this is adding some of the gear attack damage boosts). Here are pictures of the quest line for Skeletal Dragon.

Sorry about the text chatting in that one I was excited xD.
Is a bundle and a bag the same thing?

The trick to beating Osseus is simple: ignore how he cheats and take out his minion fast. He will only attack you with Death spells so if you have at least 40% Death resist (which most people do have from Grandmaster gear) then you should be fine. Pack Death shields as well and lots of prisms. If you shield he will have nothing to throw at you. He cheats by whenever you cast a blade or a trap, he will cast a Deathblade or a Hex on himself or you. This is a pretty easy boss and you should not have any trouble with it. Death is lucky, most of the other schools have really hard bosses to solo.
MORE COMING SOON!!!
If you have any guides to the Death quests to get spellls, please PM me. It would be greatly appreciated. I will give you full credit. I would prefer pictures with the guide, but they are not necessary.
