Why aren't we growing pumpkins?

I had a thought this morning - why don't we have any special October holiday seeds that grow pumpkins/jack-o-lanterns?

We've got Dead and Rotten Beets, Vampire Carrots -- but no pumpkin vines. Now I want to grow some pumpkins.

Or even just squash in general. Sasquash (a very hairy squash), Bee Gourd (yellow and black striped squash), Dee Vine (vine with the head of Dee Snidee).

I just searched up on Google. Apparently potatoes are also supposed to be stored this month. Don't recall growing any potatoes either... use some magic to make potato sized pumpkins and pumpkin size potatoes... and then throw some zombie aesthetics :clapping:

We do grow potatoes -- Couch Potatoes! Although, Zombie Potatoes might be a really good addition to the whole Couch Potato family.

Legit when I was harvesting my Couch Potatoes for the morning today, I was like "Wait a second....."

But yeah Zombified Couch Potato would be epic mostly because that's essentially what I am myself, a Zombified Couch Potato :12:

:clapping:I love this idea. There are so many potential options. The first that came to mind when I read your thread was "Grape Mummies" or raizens on the vine wrapped up in bandages.

There are a lot of existing plants that could be re-skinned for special events/holidays the same way they simply re-skinned baby carrots to make vampire carrots. Fish in a vine or zombie piranha on a vine, etc.

I LOVE this! I've always wanted to grow pumpkins; it's so strange that we haven't had more updates to gardening seeds and varieties. I've also wondered why pet snacks don't match with what the seeds are; when harvesting vampire carrots why aren't we getting carrot-type snacks? When farming couch potatoes, why aren't we getting potato-type snacks instead of Fancy Yogurt?

Don't get me wrong, I love my mega snacks. But I think it'd be cute to at least make the type of snacks dropped align with the type of seed so it feels like a real harvest lol

I think it'd be cool for future Halloween plants to drop Halloween exclusive items
