I was planning to recommend W101 to my sister for her children, but can they subscribe & pay for the game if they live in Australia? They have credit cards, of course, but does the subscription system allow them to pay & bill their Australian credit card?

I'd hate to recommend it and have them play it and get all excited (as I know they would) when they can barely complete 2/3 of Wizard City.

Hmm.. That is a good question. I know the types of credit cards they accept, but I am not exactly sure about living in another country.. I know that some other games will allow you to pay and everything if you live in another country, but just not receive the newsletters in the mail. This might be like that too, if you want you can email them at their homepage or I could get that answer for you.

Good luck!

I believe they can because there was an announcement about a change in the registration form to acomodate international subscriber in the official Wizard101 website.

I emailed KingIsle as well, but it's good to know they are thinking global, and not just local.

Just in case you wanted to know, I also sent them an email last night. Their response:

Absolutely! As long as there's a Visa, MC, Amex or Discover logo on the card, she can subscribe no matter where she lives!

Let us know if she has any troubles or needs additional questions answered.

Apparently it will be fine.
